About Sid's House

Sid Lee, 6/3/90 - 12/28/17

Sid Lee died by suicide in Germanton, NC, where he grew up. In response to their tragic loss, his family established a mental health association in Stokes County to prevent others from taking their own lives. Although the suicide rate in the county has declined over the last 20 years, it is still among the highest in the state.

The organization has joined other agencies to restore dignity to those who suffer stigma and pain because of medical diseases known as mental illness.

The 501c3, in honor of Sid, is dedicated to community health.

Please help this charity thrive. Every donation offers hope and help for those suffering from psychiatric illnesses.
